Actress Zass Mannat Rifat draws notice with two back-to-back dramas
Entertainment correspondent: Actress Zass Mannat Rifat is gradually making her place in the acting world. Two single-episode dramas starring her have recently been released on YouTube back to back — 'Shami Bidesh' (Husband Abroad) and 'Diabetiser Asami' (The Diabetes Accused). Both dramas were released by the production house Nondito Media, and her name appears in the cast list of both.
In 'Shami Bidesh', Zass Mannat Rifat stars alongside Manoshi Prokrity, Shamima Nazneen, Md Shamim Molla and Md Faizul Kabir Rothi. The drama's story, screenplay and direction are by Adibashi Mizan, and it was produced by Nazmul Hoque Rony. Cinematography was by Md Sujon, with editing and colour by Rana Ahmed. The expatriate-life-themed drama was released on Nondito Media's official YouTube channel.
In the second drama, 'Diabetiser Asami', she again worked with the same team — director Adibashi Mizan, producer Nazmul Hoque Rony, label Nondito Media. Working in two consecutive dramas for the same production house shows she is now a regular face in this small-screen medium.
Alongside acting, she is also involved in modelling and show anchoring. According to her profile, she has been associated with the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) since 2020 and has also worked as an anchor of international shows. She has appeared in commercials too — she modelled in a television commercial (TVC) named 'Thikana Valley'; the one-minute-thirty-second TVC was directed by Sultan Mojumder, with Armss Entertainment as the agency.
She is also active and well known on social media — she has more than 22,000 followers on Facebook and regularly shares shooting and work updates. She is currently based in Dhaka.
Though she began her journey with dramas as a new artiste, Zass Mannat Rifat is striving to prove herself across all three fields — acting, modelling and anchoring. Her fans expect to see her in more new work in the days ahead.
