Gas Supply to Stay Off for Five Hours in Parts of Sylhet, Residents Brace for Disruption

Gas supply will remain suspended for five hours in several areas of Sylhet, according to a report published by local media.

Residents fear disruption to cooking and daily household work during the hours when supply stays off in the affected areas.

A large number of homes in Sylhet city and its surroundings depend on piped gas, so even a suspension of a few hours affects many families.

In such situations, residents are generally advised to prepare in advance, such as cooking ahead or keeping alternative arrangements ready.

The collected report did not include a detailed list of exactly which areas will be affected or the precise hours of the suspension.

Residents say the disruption can be reduced if they confirm the areas and schedule from the authorities' official notice and prepare accordingly.
