Cultural Affairs Ministry Publishes Practical Test Results: 92 Candidates Pass for Three Posts, Viva Voce Next
The results of the computer typing speed test, shorthand and practical examinations for various posts at the Ministry of Cultural Affairs have been published. The information was announced in a notice issued by the ministry's Administration Branch-2. A total of 92 candidates have been selected across three categories of posts.
According to the notice, the roll numbers of those who passed the Bengali and English computer typing speed test, shorthand (Bengali and English) and Standard Aptitude Test, or practical examination, held on 19 October have been published.
By post, six candidates passed for Computer Operator, 27 for Stenotypist-cum-Computer Operator and 59 for Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist. The largest number of candidates was selected for the Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist post.
The notice says the schedule for the next stage — the viva voce — for candidates who passed the practical test will be published in due course. Successful candidates should therefore watch for the ministry's next notice.
Meanwhile, there is more recruitment news for jobseekers. A recruitment circular has been published for civilian posts in the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force. A total of 228 people will be recruited in 16 categories from the 13th to the 20th grade. Applications began on 9 October and will continue until 29 October 2026.
The Office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Taxes Zone-1, Chattogram, has also published a new recruitment circular. A total of 26 people will be recruited in five categories from the 13th to the 20th grade. Applications began at 10am on 15 October and can be submitted until 4pm on 5 November.
In addition, the practical test results for the Computer Operator and Data Entry/Control Operator posts at the Bangladesh Employees Welfare Board have been published. A total of 106 candidates have been selected for the viva voce.
The practical test result for the Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist post at the Department of Architecture has also been published. In that examination, 53 candidates have been selected for the viva voce.
Altogether, recruitment processes at several government institutions are moving forward at the same time — practical test results in some places, fresh circulars in others. For the 92 successful candidates at the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, the wait is now for the viva voce schedule.
