48 Bottles of Foreign Liquor Seized From CNG in Sunamganj's Shantiganj, One Arrested

Forty-eight bottles of foreign liquor have been recovered from a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Shantiganj, Sunamganj. One person has been arrested in connection with the seizure. The incident has once again drawn attention to the drug situation in the haor-dominated upazila.

At 48 bottles, the consignment was not a small one. The bottles were being carried in an ordinary vehicle like a CNG auto-rickshaw, suggesting an attempt to move liquor under the cover of passenger transport.
