BRTA Extends Deadline to 29 October for Updating Vehicle Papers and Driving Licences Without Fine

The government has extended the deadline to 29 October for updating all motor vehicle documents and driving licences without a fine.
The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) gave this information in a post on social media on Monday (26 October).
The post said that within the set time, documents for all types of vehicles can be updated by paying only the original tax and fee, without any additional fine or surcharge.
Under this facility, drivers and owners will be able to renew or update vehicle fitness certificates, tax tokens, route permits and driving licences.
BRTA said this is the last opportunity for customers' convenience. The agency has requested that all processes be completed within the set deadline.
