Standard Islami Bank Holds 55th Meeting of Its Shariah Supervisory Committee

The 55th meeting of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of Standard Islami Bank PLC has been held at the bank's head office in the capital, Dhaka.

The meeting, held on Monday (October 26), was chaired by the committee's chairman, Mufti Muhammad Muhibbullahil Baqi An-Nadavi.

Committee members Professor Dr Hafiz Mujtaba Riza Ahmed, Mufti Dr Mohammad Imam Hossain, Professor Dr A. S. M. Tarikul Islam and Professor Dr Muhammad Tajammul Haque attended the meeting.

The bank's Managing Director, Mr Riyad Mahmud Chowdhury, took part in the meeting. Additional Managing Director Md Siddiqur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director Md Jabedul Alam and senior officials of the Shariah Secretariat Division were also present.
