Fuel Prices Stay Unchanged for November: Diesel Tk 135, Octane Tk 165 a Litre
The government has kept fuel prices unchanged at the consumer level for the month of November. The information was given in a letter issued by the ministry on Thursday (29 October).
The state news agency BSS reported that the set prices will take effect from 1 November.
Under the letter, diesel will sell at Tk 135 a litre in November. Octane will remain at Tk 165 a litre.
Petrol will sell at Tk 160 a litre and kerosene at Tk 155 a litre.
The government last adjusted fuel prices on 20 September. At that time, the price of diesel was raised from Tk 115 to Tk 135 a litre.
In the same adjustment, octane was raised from Tk 145 to Tk 165 a litre, petrol from Tk 140 to Tk 160 a litre, and kerosene from Tk 135 to Tk 155 a litre.
Those prices were then kept in place through October as well. With the November decision, consumers will buy fuel at the same prices for a second straight month.
