Robert Kelker-Kelly, best known for playing Bo Brady on "Days of Our Lives," died from arteriosclerotic heart disease, the St. Charles County medical examiner confirmed to Fox News Digital. He was 62.

Kelker-Kelly, who also worked as a professional pilot, experienced chest and left arm pain shortly before his death, according to a St. Peters Police Department report obtained by Fox News Digital.

His wife, Allison Kelly, told police she picked up her husband from Spirit of St. Louis Airport at approximately 7:30pm on Oct. 3. During the drive home, Kelker-Kelly complained of pain in his chest and left arm and asked her to pull over so he could vomit, the report stated.

Kelly asked her husband whether he needed to go to the hospital. He declined, instead asking her to take him home so he could lie down.

After arriving at their Missouri residence, Kelker-Kelly changed his clothes and got into bed. He continued experiencing pain and asked his wife to get him an aspirin, according to the report.

When Kelly returned from the kitchen, she found her husband unresponsive and not breathing.

She immediately called 911 and began performing CPR, the report stated.

St. Peters police and the St. Charles County Ambulance District responded to the home shortly after 8pm. Paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but Kelker-Kelly was pronounced dead at 9:09pm.

According to the report, Kelly told investigators her husband had no known medical conditions and was not taking prescription medications. She also said he had not had any serious injuries or surgery during the previous year.

Police told Fox News Digital at the time that investigators found no suspicious circumstances at the scene. "Mr. Kelly had reportedly complained of chest pain shortly before becoming unresponsive, and the circumstances appeared consistent with a medical event," police said.
