Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah marries journalist Nidhi Razdan, confirming it with photos himself

Omar Abdullah, the chief minister of India's Jammu and Kashmir, has married senior Indian journalist Nidhi Razdan. Their wedding took place on Friday (October 30).
Omar Abdullah confirmed the news on Saturday (October 31) by publishing wedding photos on social media. Sharing several photos of the couple on X (formerly Twitter) and tagging Nidhi Razdan, he wrote in the caption, 'A new journey begins.' Sharing the same photos, Nidhi wrote, 'It's done bro.'
It is the second marriage for both Omar Abdullah and Nidhi Razdan. Omar had earlier married Payal Nath in 1994. After living apart for a long time, their divorce was completed on July 31 this year by order of India's Supreme Court. They have two sons from that marriage.
Nidhi Razdan, for her part, had married journalist and lyricist Neelesh Mishra in 2005. They later divorced.
Many figures from political and social circles have congratulated the newlyweds on social media as they begin their new life together.
