A Mumbai–Lonavala Vistadome ride past hills and waterfalls for just 700 rupees

Waterfalls cascading down hillsides, dense greenery all around and valleys wrapped in cloud in places—such scenery can be watched from a train on the way from Mumbai to Lonavala in India. The beauty of this rail route grows further especially in the monsoon. And the Vistadome coach makes that experience even more enjoyable.
A content creator recently shared the experience of travelling on this train from Mumbai to Lonavala. According to the creator, the chance to ride this luxury coach cost just 700 rupees—about 914 taka in Bangladeshi currency. On the roughly two-and-a-half-hour journey, the natural scenery all around can be enjoyed through the train's large glass windows.
One of the Vistadome coach's features is its rotatable seats. The seats can be turned up to 180 degrees, so passengers can face whichever side has the better view. The air-conditioned coach also has separate space for extra luggage.
The most eye-catching arrangement, however, is the observation deck. Sitting there, one can watch the hills, waterfalls and green valleys. In the monsoon, mist on the hillsides and streams of waterfall water make the journey even more charming.
According to the content creator, three to four trains on the Mumbai–Lonavala route have Vistadome coaches. When booking a ticket, the ‘EV’ coach has to be selected.
However, train and coach services and ticket prices can change. So before booking, it is important to check the schedule and fare information on Indian Railways' official website.
