Young Protesters Gather at Berlin's Brandenburg Gate in Nationwide Youth Protests Across More Than 30 Cities

Hundreds of young demonstrators gathered outside the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on Saturday. The rally was part of a nationwide day of youth protests organised by the movement called “GenZ regelt!” (Gen Z will sort it out!).
Demonstrations were planned in more than 30 German cities, including Frankfurt and Cologne. The day of action followed student protests in several European countries.
In Berlin, protesters held banners calling for German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and French President Emmanuel Macron to resign.
Others chanted anti-capitalist and anti-fascist slogans, while speakers addressed the crowd.
The movement had called for nationwide protests against political and social issues, in solidarity with youth movements in other countries.
