'We will kill Trump': giant billboard unveiled at Tehran's Enghelab Square

Giant billboards and banners were unveiled in Iran's capital Tehran on Tuesday pledging to kill US President Donald Trump. According to news agency AFP, the displays mark a new level of intensity in official propaganda messaging in the Iranian capital.
One huge billboard installed at Tehran's busy Enghelab Square reads, 'We will kill Trump.' The accompanying image shows the US president sitting with his head bowed inside a prison.
Another billboard nearby shows Trump alongside US Vice President JD Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Their faces are depicted bloodied and their clothes torn, against a backdrop of tattered Israeli and American flags.
Many people gathered at the square were waving red flags and carrying banners reading 'blood will flow'. They were calling for revenge for the killing of former supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Khamenei was killed on 28 February in a US-Israeli attack, which triggered the war in the Middle East. Tehran's new billboards and exhibitions mock Trump, vow revenge against him and claim victory over the United States on the battlefield against that backdrop.
At an open exhibition at the busy Tajrish Square in northern Tehran, several paintings of Trump are on display. In one, Trump's bloodied face lies on the ground with a foot pressed on his head. In another, a bomb covers his face.
Next to the exhibition stands a full-size structure built to resemble a prison cell, inside which an actor dressed as Trump spends time. On a screen beside it, scenes of destruction caused by US attacks on Iran are being shown.
Tehran alleges that during the war Trump deliberately targeted civilian sites, including schools and wedding ceremonies. According to Iran, many people, including women and children, were killed in those attacks.
