Ukraine investigates clashes at military dormitory near Kyiv, with suspicions of Russian orchestration

Ukraine is investigating clashes between protesters and authorities at a military dormitory near the capital, Kyiv.

Suspicions have been raised that the incident may have been engineered in order to discredit Ukraine’s war effort.

Around 100 people gathered near the dormitory after reports spread on social media. Those reports alleged that recruits staying there were being tortured and abused.

The investigation into the clashes that followed the gathering is also examining suspicions of a possible Russian role in orchestrating the incident.
