Thousands of Tourists Flock to Kuakata in Patuakhali During Three-Day Holiday, Most Hotel Rooms Booked

A three-day holiday is under way in educational institutions, as the two weekly days off have been joined by Sunday's Shyama Puja holiday. Thousands of tourists have come to Kuakata sea beach in Patuakhali for the break.
Kuakata is known as a beach of both sunrise and sunset. According to the material, tourists are enjoying the natural beauty, floating in the sea's salt water and visiting different spots.
Tourists began arriving at one of the country's leading tourist centres from Thursday afternoon.
On Friday morning (6 November), crowds of tourists were seen at the beach's Zero Point. Many were spending time with the sea's small and large waves, others were making things in the sand, and several were sitting on benches enjoying the natural beauty.
Not only Zero Point, but every tourist spot along the 22-kilometre beach, including Lemburbon and Char Gangamati, has visitors. Most hotel rooms are booked, according to the material.
Tourists Rafik and Russell Hossain, who came from Mirpur in Dhaka, said it was neither very hot nor very cold at the beach. In this weather, small waves were breaking on the beach, and swimming in the sea with friends felt wonderful to them.
The Farid-Sonia couple, who came from Narail, said their child's school is closed on Sunday, so they brought their children to Kuakata for the holiday. They will stay two days, visit all the tourist spots and then return.
Kuakata Tourist Police in-charge Inspector Nazmul Hasan said tourist police members have been deployed at every tourist spot for visitors' safety, and patrol teams are also working.
He said it is hoped that tourists will be able to enjoy their trip safely.
