'No attack today': Trump rules out a strike on Iran on Sunday

US President Donald Trump on Sunday ruled out the possibility of attacking Iran that day. He made the remarks to reporters while leaving the White House for Michigan.
Trump was asked whether US strikes could resume today itself. In reply he said: 'The answer is no, there will be no attack today.'
Earlier, on Saturday, Trump had warned that Washington could attack Iran as early as tomorrow (Sunday). However, he had also said military action could be avoided if a 'big, beautiful' deal was reached with Tehran.
Facing reporters on Saturday, in response to a question about how far he had gone on a possible attack, Trump had said: 'We are thinking of doing it, and maybe tomorrow itself.' In Sunday's remarks, he stepped back from that position and ruled out an attack that day.
