Asif Mahmud to Head NCP Diaspora Sub-Committee, Monira Sharmin Named Deputy

The National Citizen Party (NCP) has formed a 'Diaspora Affairs Sub-Committee' to oversee its expatriate organisation. Asif Mahmud Sajeb Bhuiyan will serve as the head of the committee and Monira Sharmin as its deputy head.

The information was given in a press release signed by NCP office secretary Sadia Farzana Dina on Monday (October 26) at noon.

The release said the sub-committee was formed with the approval of NCP Convener Md Nahid Islam and Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain, with the aim of making the party's diaspora activities dynamic and effective, coordinating party activities and consolidating expatriate welfare work.

Rafe Salman Rifat, Tanzil Mahmud, Ayman Rahat and Tarek Reza are the organising secretaries of the sub-committee. Ridwan Hesen Akshar, Arafat Hossain Alif, Jasim Uddin and Alamgir Chowdhury Akash are its assistant organising secretaries.

Barrister Nurul Huda Juned has been made the sub-committee's expatriate welfare affairs secretary.
