Israelis Rally in Tel Aviv for a Jewish-Arab Government After Arab Parties' Election Gains
Israelis rallied in Tel Aviv in support of forming a Jewish-Arab government. The rally followed Tuesday's election, in which parties representing Israel's Arab citizens made major gains.
According to initial projections, the two main Arab parties are set to win around 19 of the 120 seats in Israel's parliament, the Knesset.
Winning that number of seats could give the two parties a say in who forms the next government.
The Tel Aviv rally pressed the demand for a government that includes representation from both Jewish and Arab communities.
