HSC Results Out Tomorrow: How to Check Your Result from Home via Website and SMS

The results of the 2026 HSC and equivalent examinations will be published tomorrow. Ahead of the publication, students and their family members are feeling both eagerness and anxiety to know the results. Here is how the result can be known from home, online or by sending a text message (SMS) from a mobile phone.
The HSC result can easily be viewed using an internet connection on a mobile phone or computer. For this, one has to enter the designated website of the education boards.
First, enter the website educationboardresults.gov.bd or eduboardresults.gov.bd from the browser of a mobile phone or computer. Then select HSC, Alim or equivalent in the examination name field. Select 2026 as the examination year and the name of your own education board, and write the roll number in the designated field. If other necessary information including the registration number is asked for, fill those in as well.
After that, if a security code or captcha is shown on the website for verification, fill it in. After checking that all the information has been given correctly, click the submit button and the candidate's result will appear on the screen. Once the facility to view the detailed marksheet is launched after the results are published, the necessary information can also be collected from there.
Those who have no internet connection or face problems entering the website can also know the result through a mobile phone text message. For this, a message has to be sent in the prescribed format from any mobile phone.
The rule for sending the SMS is: write HSC, then the first three letters of the board, then the roll number, then 2026, and send the message to 16140. As an example, if a Dhaka Education Board candidate's roll number is 123456, the message should be written as: HSC DHA 123456 2026. The candidate's result will be informed in the return message.
In this case, the first three letters of the board's name must be written in English. If there is a mistake in the board name or the roll number, there may be problems in getting the result. So it is important to check all the information carefully before sending the message.
To know the result through SMS, the prescribed three-letter abbreviation of the education board's name must be used. Dhaka board's code is DHA, Rajshahi board's RAJ, Cumilla board's COM, Jashore board's JES, Chattogram board's CHI, Barishal board's BAR, Sylhet board's SYL, Dinajpur board's DIN and Mymensingh board's MYM. Besides, the code MAD is to be used for the Madrasa board and TEC for the Technical board.
At the scheduled time of result publication, a huge number of students entering the website at the same time can create extra pressure on the server. Because of this, problems such as the website taking time to open, the result not being displayed, or temporary inability to enter may occur.
In such a situation, it is better to wait a while and try again instead of repeatedly refreshing the page. If needed, the alternative result-viewing website can be used. If there is a problem with the internet connection, the result can also be attempted through SMS.
Keeping the examination roll number, registration number and the name of the education board at hand before the results are published will make it easier to view the result quickly.
