Popular actress Parsa Evana, known for her role in 'Bachelor Point', has claimed that directors are forced to replace actors who are right for a character because of pressure from heroes and producers. She made the remarks in a post on social media. The actress is also known as a dancer.

In her post, Parsa Evana raised the subject of open analysis and criticism of television dramas in neighbouring countries. She said that in the countries around Bangladesh, dramas are discussed openly — how each actor performed, whose pronunciation was wrong, where the direction fell short, and what the writer actually wanted to say are all topics of discussion there.

In her view, television dramas in Bangladesh are not analysed in that way, and actors' mistakes are not even corrected. She said that if such a practice existed in the country, the weaknesses of many dramas would come to light. Here, she said, an actor's wrong pronunciation or shortcomings in acting are often not corrected, although proper casting, understanding the character and a director's clear vision are essential for a good drama.

On the subject of casting being changed, she said a writer writes a character imagining one person, the director wants someone else, and the producer picks yet another person of his own choice — good filmmaking does not happen this way. She added that casts are changed even at the last moment under pressure from the hero or the producer.

The actress also believes many good stories will be ruined if people cannot stop thinking about their own convenience. She said the real work is to find the right person for the character and for the actor to understand that character and bring it to life on screen. As long as people think about their own advantage rather than the work, many good stories will keep being ruined in this way, because in the end it shows on screen — whether on the big screen or the small screen.

Many netizens have voiced agreement with Parsa Evana's remarks. However, the exact reason why she suddenly made such statements is not known. This has raised the question of whether Parsa Evana herself has gone through such a reality in her professional life — although the answer to that question remains unknown.

The busy small-screen actress entered acting despite being a classical dancer. She began acting occasionally in 2015 and became regular in the medium from 2018. She drew particular attention by playing the character 'Eva' in the widely discussed drama 'Bachelor Point', directed by Kajal Arefin Ome.

Parsa Evana later acted in several dramas and telefilms. Among them, she earned audience praise for 'Good Buzz' and 'Bad Buzz', in both of which she paired with Ziaul Haque Polash. She is now working regularly in this medium.
