SSS to recruit 1,782 people in 17 categories, salaries up to Tk 170,140

The non-government development organisation Society for Social Service (SSS) has published a circular to recruit a total of 1,782 employees in 17 categories of posts. Recruitment will range from senior management positions to field-level workers. Salaries have been set between Tk 12,000 and Tk 170,140 depending on the post. The last date for applications is 20 November 2026.

According to the circular, three people will be recruited as assistant director and one as administrator (hospital). Three will be appointed as senior programme manager, three as programme manager (MF), and one as programme manager in the human resources and administration department.

In addition, 10 zonal managers (credit), 60 area managers (credit), 20 audit officers (credit) and 20 zonal accounts officers (credit) will be recruited. Ten trainers and another 10 senior officers or branch managers (credit) will also be appointed.

The largest recruitment is at field level. Three hundred branch manager officers/assistants (credit), 100 associate officers or branch accountants (credit), and up to 1,000 assistant officers or senior field organisers (credit) will be recruited. The organisation also announced 100 medical assistants and 50 assistant technical officers (agriculture).

Under the pay structure, the assistant director post carries a minimum salary of Tk 136,112 during probation, rising to Tk 170,140 after regularisation. The senior programme manager post pays Tk 115,346 during probation and Tk 144,183 after regularisation.

Programme managers (MF) and in human resources and administration will get Tk 103,684 during probation and Tk 129,605 after regularisation. Zonal managers (credit) will receive Tk 79,068 during probation and Tk 98,835 after regularisation, while area managers will get Tk 58,700 and Tk 73,375 respectively.

Audit officers will be paid Tk 53,900 during probation and Tk 67,375 after regularisation; zonal accounts officers will see pay rise from Tk 51,686 to Tk 64,608. Trainers will get Tk 49,686 during probation and Tk 62,108 after regularisation, and senior officers or branch managers Tk 49,404 and Tk 61,755 respectively.

Branch manager officers/assistants will receive Tk 16,000 a month during a minimum four-month training period, then Tk 41,644 during probation and Tk 52,055 after regularisation. Associate officers or branch accountants have been set Tk 38,712 during probation and Tk 48,390 after regularisation.

Assistant officers or senior field organisers will be paid Tk 12,000 during a two-month training period; during probation the salary will be Tk 36,854 and after regularisation Tk 46,068. Medical assistants and assistant technical officers (agriculture) will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Tk 29,890.
