16-Year-Old Gabriel Turns Down PSG's New Offer Too, with Real Madrid Ahead in the Race
Europe's big clubs are interested in signing Manchester United's young footballer JJ Gabriel. But Real Madrid are currently ahead in the race for the 16-year-old.
Paris Saint-Germain, PSG, made a fresh proposal, but Gabriel and his representatives turned it down. His position did not change even with the French club's new offer.
Alongside its financial offer, PSG had also changed its sporting plan. The French club highlighted the opportunities young players receive under coach Luis Enrique. Gabriel, however, is interested in playing in Spain.
Barcelona had also shown interest in Gabriel. The Catalan club did not want to compete with Real Madrid's financial offer, however. Bayern Munich have also fallen behind in the race to sign the youngster.
Real Madrid are said to be willing to spend more than 10 million euros on a three-year contract, in line with what Gabriel and his representatives want.
No deal has been finalised yet, however. The transfer formalities and the necessary administrative process also remain outstanding.
