Jalalabad Gas warns of low gas pressure in its area from November 4 to 7

Gas supply in Sylhet may also be disrupted for four consecutive days. Jalalabad Gas Transmission and Distribution System Limited announced this in a public notice on Monday (November 2).

The notice says regasification operations will remain suspended from 8 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, because of emergency maintenance work at an LNG terminal.

As a result of the four-day suspension, low gas pressure is also expected in the distribution areas under Jalalabad Gas, as in the rest of the country, according to the notice.

The authority said residential, commercial, industrial and all other categories of customers may face temporary inconvenience in using gas.

Jalalabad Gas has apologised to customers for the temporary inconvenience and sought everyone's cooperation in this regard.
