Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury detained from DBC office in Mohakhali, journalist Rajib Ghosh also held

Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, who was information adviser to former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, has been detained. Crime reporter Rajib Ghosh, who was with him at the time, was also detained.

A source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said they were detained from the DBC News office in the Amtoli area of Mohakhali in the capital.

Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury is the acting chairman of DBC News. The detention took place at the office of that television channel itself.

After his detention, Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury was taken to the Detective Branch (DB) office. Another report said he was questioned there.

In several reports published the same day, news of his detention came first, followed by reports of his questioning at the DB office.
