Day-Long Robo Fest Held in Jamalpur with UIU Support, Robots on Display for Students

A day-long 'Robo Fest 2026' has been held in Jamalpur with the support of United International University (UIU), to encourage students' interest in robotics, artificial intelligence (AI) and programming.

The festival was recently held on the premises of United Public School and College. The initiative came from the institution's Science and Innovation Club and United Trust.

At the festival, organised under the theme 'A Journey Into the World of Robotics', various technologies and projects developed by UIU's Center for AI and Robotics (CAIR) were put on display.

The projects on display included the UIU Mars Rover, the Rescue Rover, aerial robotics and the Mariner.

At the exhibition, CAIR members presented the activities and practical aspects of ground, marine and aerial robotics to the students.

Alongside United Public School and College, students from M A Rashid Memorial Academy and M A Gafur Memorial Academy took part in the festival.

The participating students were able to see the robots up close and learn how they work and what they are used for.
