PM Inaugurates Notun Kuri Sports Season 2 in Khulna, Calls for Movement to Counter Conspiracy

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has inaugurated the second edition (Season-2) of Notun Kuri Sports at Khulna District Stadium. He inaugurated the event at a ceremony held at around 3:45pm on Thursday (5 November).

Before the inauguration ceremony, the Prime Minister visited the shrine of Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali (RA) in Bagerhat from Mongla port. He then reached Khulna Circuit House via Katakhali and Kudir Battala, and from there went to Khulna District Stadium.

For the Prime Minister's Khulna visit, a roadside rally stage was built at Tilok Kudir Tala in Rupsa upazila, at the entrance to Khulna. A three-member team had been formed to receive him and take him to the stage, and the three were waiting in front of the stage before his arrival.

At 2:16pm, the 'Sobar Age Bangladesh' bus carrying the Prime Minister stopped beside the rally stage. Before the leaders in charge of the reception could reach him, the Prime Minister got down from the vehicle, mingled with ordinary people and shook hands with them.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman later took the stage and delivered a speech. In it, he highlighted the government's development plans and the implementation of election promises.

In his speech, he said the prime minister of the ousted fascist government is carrying out various conspiracies from India to destabilise the country, including attempts to create sabotage.

The Prime Minister called on the people to build another movement like that of 2024 to counter these conspiracies.

After the roadside rally, the Prime Minister went to Khulna District Stadium and inaugurated the second edition of Notun Kuri Sports there.
