Startup Bangladesh Limited hiring for 8 posts, apply online

Startup Bangladesh Limited, the government's flagship venture capital company under the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, has published a recruitment notice. The company will hire for eight different posts, including Chief Investment Officer (CIO).

According to the notice, eligible and interested candidates can complete their applications online.

For the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) post, candidates need at least a postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounts or Economics. Holders of MBA, CFA, FCMA, FCA, FCCA, CPA or CAIA degrees will be given preference. No third division in academic life will be accepted; CGPA must be 3.50 on a 5.0 scale and 2.50 on a 4.0 scale. At least 15 years of experience in financial services, investment or asset management, venture capital, a DFI or a reputed consultancy is required, including five years in a top post.

For the Associate—Fund of Funds post, candidates need at least a postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounts or Economics. MBA, CFA or CAIA degree holders will be given preference. No third division in academic life will be accepted. CGPA must be 3.50 on a 5.0 scale and 2.50 on a 4.0 scale. At least six years of experience in investment or asset management, venture capital or the capital market is required, including two years in a mid-level post.

For the AVP—Finance and Accounts post, candidates need a postgraduate degree or MBA or MBS in Commerce (Finance or Accounting). ACA, ACMA, CFA or SCA degree holders will be given preference. No third division in academic life will be accepted. CGPA must be 3.50 on a 5.0 scale and 2.50 on a 4.0 scale. At least eight years of experience in finance, portfolio valuation or the venture capital industry is required, including two years in a mid-level post.

For the Executive—Finance and Accounts post, candidates need a postgraduate degree or MBA or MBS in Commerce (Finance or Accounting). No third division in academic life will be accepted. CGPA must be 3.50 on a 5.0 scale and 2.50 on a 4.0 scale. At least two years of experience in finance or the venture capital industry is required.

For the Executive—Compliance and HR post, candidates need a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management, Law, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related subject. LLB, MBA-HRM or PGD-HRM degree holders will be given preference. No third division in academic life will be accepted. CGPA must be 3.50 on a 5.0 scale and 2.50 on a 4.0 scale. At least two years of experience in compliance, human resources, administration or legal affairs is required.

For the Office Assistant post, candidates need at least HSC or equivalent, with a GPA of at least 3.00 on a 5.0 scale. At least two years of work experience in the relevant field is required.

For the Driver post, candidates need at least Class 8 or equivalent. At least five years of experience as a professional driver in a government or corporate organisation is required.

For the Janitor post, candidates need at least Class 8 or equivalent. At least two years of experience in cleaning and housekeeping in any government or corporate office is required.

Finally selected employees will receive salary, allowances and other institutional benefits according to the company's existing policies.
