BJP MP Nishikant Dubey demands return of Chattogram port, Sylhet and Noakhali

Nishikant Dubey, a member of parliament from India's ruling party, the BJP, has demanded the return of Chattogram port, Noakhali and Sylhet, saying the time has come to take them back.

The three areas he named — Chattogram port, Noakhali and Sylhet — are currently part of Bangladesh.

The news of his demand was published on Saturday, 7 November, by several news outlets, including Bangla Tribune.

In making the demand, he brought up the time of partition and levelled an allegation against former prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
