Dhaka University invites applications for Executive MIT course; deadline 18 December

The Institute of Information Technology (IIT) of Dhaka University has invited applications for admission to the Executive Master in Information Technology (MIT) programme for the Spring 2026-27 session. Interested candidates can apply until 18 December 2026.

The programme carries a total of 36 credit hours, comprising 10 courses and one project or internship. It takes a minimum of one year and six months to complete.

Applications can be submitted online or in person at the IIT office. The application fee has been fixed at 1,500 taka.

To apply, a candidate must hold a four-year bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer and Information Technology, Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics or Robotics, or in an equivalent subject.

Candidates who have completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) along with a four-year bachelor's degree can also apply for this programme.

Candidates with prior work experience in the information technology field will get special priority in admission.

Along with the 10 courses, the project or internship will give students the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience.

Interested candidates must complete their applications by 18 December after paying the prescribed fee.
