Three die of dengue in a day, 1,674 admitted to hospital
Three people have died of dengue in the country in the last 24 hours. During the same period, 1,674 people were newly admitted to hospital.
The figures, covering the period up to 8am on Saturday, were released by the Health Emergency Operations Centre of the Directorate General of Health Services.
The 1,674 newly admitted patients were hospitalised in different hospitals across the country during the 24 hours, according to the figures.
Three people died of dengue within the same 24-hour period.
