Three Cocktails Explode in Dhaka at Midnight, Bus Burns at Mohakhali

Three cocktails exploded in Dhaka's Jatrabari and Banani areas at midnight. On the same night, a parked bus of Sohag Paribahan caught fire at the Mohakhali bus terminal. No casualties were reported in any of the incidents.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Salauddin of Jatrabari police station said miscreants exploded two cocktails in front of the Jatrabari police station at around 1:10 a.m. on Saturday night. He said police are looking into who was involved in the incident.

Sources at Banani police station said a cocktail exploded near the Setu Bhaban in Banani. It was not initially known who was involved.

After 1 a.m., a Sohag Paribahan bus parked at the rear of the Mohakhali bus terminal caught fire. The entire bus was burned.

SI Abdul Hamid of Tejgaon Industrial Area police station said two units of the Fire Service reached the scene and brought the fire under control. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
