In today's Major League Soccer (MLS) match, Inter Miami's victory seemed certain, and football fans were waiting to see how many goals the team might score. But Charlotte FC were not about to give up. Despite leading 3-0, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez were held back by Charlotte's incredible comeback.

In the Inter Miami-Charlotte match held this morning Bangladesh time, the moment when Messi clashed with the referee on duty, Rubiel Vazquez, stood out beyond the thrill of six goals. In the 85th minute, following a foul by Messi's teammate Matias Gallarsa, Charlotte were awarded a free kick. At first Vazquez signalled play to continue, but in the end he blew the whistle against Messi's side. As a result, the build-up Miami had created had to be stopped. Messi became quite angry at the referee's decision.

Charlotte had a chance to take the lead at the very start of the match. But the goal scored by the team's forward Liel Abada in the 4th minute was disallowed after a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review.

In the 14th minute, Miami defender Ian Fray opened the scoring. The source of Fray's goal was Messi's corner.

Inter Miami increased the lead in the latter part of the first half. Suarez scored the team's second goal in the 33rd minute, and the third came from Rodrigo De Paul in the 42nd minute. Miami ended the first half leading 3-0.

If the first half belonged to Inter Miami, the second half belonged to Charlotte. Between the 50th and 55th minutes — in just five minutes — Charlotte forward Abada scored twice.

Miami then tried to increase the lead but did not succeed. Ianick Bright and Casemiro got chances but could not use them. Even in the 68th minute, the goal plan that Suarez and Messi made together came to nothing, when Messi shot towards Charlotte's goal from Suarez's header.

When a team leads 3-0, the balance usually stays in that team's favour most of the time. But today, despite being in such a favourable position, Miami could not win. The MLS match between Inter Miami and Charlotte ended in a 3-3 draw.
