Lucky Ali returns to Bangladesh after three years, to perform in Dhaka and Chattogram

Popular Bollywood and indie-pop singer Lucky Ali is returning to Bangladesh after three years. This time he will perform not only in Dhaka but also in Chattogram. The organisers have said he will take the stage in Chattogram on 12 November and in Dhaka on 13 November.
The concert, titled 'Lucky Ali Bangladesh Tour', is being organised by EQUB Entertainment. Dhaka Broadcast is the logistics partner for the concerts. The organisers said the tour has been arranged at two venues in the two cities.
Lucky Ali will perform at the Radisson Blu in Chattogram on 12 November. The next day, on 13 November, he will perform at Chef's Table Courtside on Madani Avenue in Dhaka. Audiences at both concerts will get to hear his popular songs.
The organisers said ticket sales for the Dhaka concert have already begun. The Chattogram concert will be formally announced today. Several Bangladeshi bands will also perform alongside Lucky Ali at both venues in Dhaka and Chattogram. That list will also be published today.
Tickets for the concerts are available on EQUB's website. Tickets are being sold in three categories. Prices have been set at 4,000 taka (general), 7,000 taka (premium) and 12,000 taka (VIP).
After several concerts by foreign artistes were postponed recently, many people have expressed concern on Facebook about Lucky Ali's concerts as well. Questions have been raised among fans about whether this concert will actually go ahead.
Asked about the matter, EQUB said, 'We have spoken with the relevant authorities about permission for the concert. Ticket sales began only after receiving the green signal. We hope we will receive the full cooperation of the administration till the end. We are trying our best to present the audience with a wonderful concert.'
Lucky Ali last came to Bangladesh in 2023 to perform. On that occasion he enthralled Dhaka audiences with his popular songs. He is returning to Bangladesh again after three years.
Lucky Ali created his own distinct style in the indie-pop and Bollywood melody songs of the 1990s. His first solo album, 'Sunoh', was released in 1996. The song 'O Sanam' from that album brought him stardom.
He was equally successful in Bollywood playback singing. He gifted audiences popular songs such as 'Ek Pal Ka Jeena', 'Na Tum Jaano Na Hum', 'Aa Bhi Ja', 'Jaane Kya Dhoondta Hai', 'Ahista' and 'Safarnama'. After 2015, however, he gradually stepped back from playback singing and focused on independent music.
