Inovar marks first anniversary with 400 products and 700 dealers across Bangladesh

Inovar, the flagship brand of Akij Resource, has completed one year. Launched in 2025 with electrical products, the brand has built a portfolio of more than 400 products across electrical, home appliance, pump and tools categories in just one year. In the same period it has set up a network of 700 dealers across the country, expanding its market presence and distribution capacity.

To mark the first anniversary, a ceremony was held on Sunday (8 November) at Akij House in Tejgaon, Dhaka. Akij Resource Managing Director Sheikh Jasim Uddin attended as chief guest.

Sheikh Jasim Uddin said, “Inovar’s one-year journey is an important milestone for us. In a short time, we have been able to win the trust of customers and traders through the quality of our products.”

He added that the company is giving priority to making tasteful products keeping its partners in mind, and for that it is using advanced technology, robotic arms and fully automated technology in its factory.

“We believe that with the combination of modern technology, quality products and reliable service, Inovar will make people’s daily lives easier and more comfortable. We hope Inovar’s products will reach people in every corner of the country,” said Sheikh Jasim Uddin.

Masud Al Amin Rajib, Chief Executive Officer of Akij Light Engineering Ltd, said, “Inovar’s first year is a milestone of progress and possibility for us. Our goal is to supply products suited to customers’ daily needs, combining modern design, technology, quality and reliability.”

He added that building a portfolio of more than 400 products in a short time and establishing a network of 700 dealers across the country has further strengthened the foundation for future growth.

“Our goal is not only to sell products, but also to ensure service for those products. For that we have a skilled service team that ensures service based on consumers’ needs anywhere in the country,” said Masud Al Amin Rajib.

He added that their goal is to establish Inovar as a reliable brand by winning customers’ trust, ensuring easy availability of products and providing quality customer service.

Also present at the ceremony were Akij Resource Chief People Officer Md. Afsar Uddin, Chief Business Development Officer Toufiq Hasan, Deputy Chief Operating Officer Sohanur Rahman Sohan, Akij Light Engineering Ltd Chief Financial Officer Golam Kibria Sarkar, Head of Marketing Md. Sajjadul Islam and Head of Operation Mohammad Touhidul Islam Faisal, along with officials of various business units of Akij Resource.

Inspired by the motto “Designed for Now”, Inovar’s current product range includes switches, sockets, LED lights, electric cookers, gas stoves, rice cookers, geysers, water pumps, hardware and power tools.

From house construction and electrical connections to the kitchen and everyday household products, the brand is steadily diversifying its products and expanding its range to meet customer demand, the ceremony was told.
