Hosts Gulshan Youth Club won eight gold, four silver and four bronze medals in the competition.

Speaking at the ceremony, Housing and Public Works Minister Zakaria Taher Suman said it is extremely important to build accessible and adequate playgrounds to ensure that people of all ages across the country get the opportunity to take part in sports.

He said multi-purpose sports infrastructure will encourage the youth to take part in healthy competition.

Tabith Awal, president of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), said club-based sporting activities play an important role in developing new talent, building team spirit and strengthening the foundation of the country's sports arena.

The chief guest and other guests handed the champion's trophy to Wahiduzzaman Tamal, president of the winning Gulshan Youth Club, and club officials.

Earlier, at the start of the closing ceremony, the welcome speech was delivered by Mehedi Hasan, secretary general of Gulshan Youth Club and chairman of the 'Ullash 2026' organising committee.
