HSC Results by SMS This Year Require the New Number 16140
The method for learning HSC examination results by SMS on a mobile phone has changed. In previous years results could be obtained by sending an SMS to 16222, but this year students must send their SMS to the new number, 16140.
The information was announced on Tuesday (October 27) in a notice from the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.
According to the notice, the HSC examination results will be published on October 31 at 11 a.m. Students will be able to learn their results from their own educational institutions, online and by SMS.
To get the result by SMS, students must go to the message option on their mobile phone, write HSC in English followed by a space, then the first three letters of their education board's name, their roll number and the examination year, and send it to 16140.
Under the format given in the notice, sending an SMS reading HSC DHA 123456 2026 to 16140 will return the result.
The results will also be published on the websites of the respective education boards. They can also be viewed on two other websites, eduboardresult.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd.
