Light Rain Likely in Dhaka Today, Morning Temperature 29.9 Degrees

Light rain is likely in the capital Dhaka and surrounding areas today, the Meteorological Department has said. There is also a possibility of thunder showers.

The information was given in the weather forecast issued on Thursday (29 October) for the six hours from 7am. According to the forecast, the sky over Dhaka and nearby areas may remain partly cloudy to cloudy.

During this period, wind may blow from the south and south-east at 10 to 15 kilometres per hour, the forecast said. The daytime temperature may fall slightly.

At 6am, Dhaka's temperature was 29.9 degrees Celsius. Humidity in the air at that time was 85 percent.

Today's minimum temperature was 26.6 degrees Celsius. On Wednesday (28 October), Dhaka's maximum temperature was 35.6 degrees Celsius.
