66 percent chance of rain in Dhaka on Friday afternoon, around 3 mm expected

Dhaka's residents have been sweltering through several days of heat. Rain may fall in the capital on Friday afternoon, according to the weather website AccuWeather.

On Thursday, Dhaka's sky was cloudier than in the previous few days and the sun was less intense. But despite the cloud cover, no rain fell, and the humid heat has lingered.

According to AccuWeather, Dhaka's sky will remain mostly cloudy on Friday, with a 66 percent chance of rainfall.

In total, around 3 millimetres of rain could fall in about one hour, the website said.

Friday's daytime temperature in Dhaka may reach 31 degrees Celsius, though it may feel like 35 degrees.

At night, the temperature may drop to around 24 degrees. According to AccuWeather, there is also a slight chance of rain in the capital at night.
