Cocktail Bombs Explode Outside Tribunal Judge's Dhanmondi Home in Dhaka, Four Held While Fleeing

Cocktail bombs have exploded outside the Dhanmondi home of Monjurul Bachid, a judge of International Crimes Tribunal-2, in the capital. Police have detained four people in connection with the incident. The attack took place on Friday, October 30, before the Jummah prayers.
At the time, the judge was preparing to go to prayers. It was then that miscreants hurled cocktails in front of his home.
The judge's son, Mahmudul Basit, confirmed the matter. He said three cocktails were thrown in front of their Dhanmondi home just moments before the Jummah prayers.
Sheikh Jahidul Islam, deputy commissioner of police for the Ramna Division, said at least four to five cocktails exploded in front of the International Crimes Tribunal-2 judge's home. Three unexploded cocktails were recovered from the spot, and a bomb disposal unit later defused them.
The deputy commissioner added that four people were arrested with the help of local residents while they were fleeing after the incident.
No detailed information was available about any casualties or damage in the incident.
