No Progress in Talks Unless US Accepts Iran's Seven Conditions: Speaker Ghalibaf

Staff Reporter

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the speaker of Iran's parliament, has said that talks with the United States to end the war will not progress unless Washington accepts the seven conditions set by Iran.

The Mehr News agency reported the statement.

Ghalibaf set out the position in a post on the social media platform X on Thursday, October 29.

He said progress in the ongoing talks with the United States required acceptance of Iran's seven conditions, which he said had been presented clearly to the mediators on multiple occasions.

The Iranian parliament speaker added that neither pressure nor inducements could move Iran from its position.

According to him, progress in the talks is possible only when the United States accepts Iran's seven conditions.
