A fan first recognised the singer, who was wearing a plain T-shirt. Within moments, admirers gathered around him and a rush began for selfies and photographs.
Seeing the situation becoming difficult to manage, Arijit Singh did not prolong any conversation and quickly ran out of the dhaba area, according to accounts of the incident.
After a video of the incident was posted on social media, it drew wide discussion. Some users said that even a celebrity's personal time deserves respect.
