Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence has said that during the filming of a nude scene she strongly objected after finding that some outside crew members were present on set without permission. She described the experience recently on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast.

Lawrence said several people were present on the set who had no permission to be there. As soon as she learned of it, she protested immediately. She said that although she has performed many different kinds of scenes during her career, she did not accept that situation.

She said that, as an established actress, it is important to speak up not only to protect her own rights but also for the safety of new and young performers. An 18-year-old newcomer might not voice her discomfort for fear of being labelled 'difficult', she noted, which is why she believes such situations must be challenged openly.

On the podcast she also shared her experience of her recent film 'Die My Love', in which she performed intimate scenes with Robert Pattinson. She said the film had no intimacy coordinator, but Pattinson's professional and supportive conduct made her feel at ease and safe.

Lawrence said she agreed to the nude scenes because she has no personal discomfort with nudity and because she trusted the director's artistic freedom. She was pregnant during the shoot, but said she had no extra anxiety about her body shape.

She added that for one close-up scene it was proposed that the natural folds of her skin and her cellulite be digitally removed. She rejected the proposal and decided to present her body naturally on screen.
