Dhaka's weather mainly dry today, sky may stay partly cloudy

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has published the weather forecast for Dhaka and its surrounding areas. The forecast says the sky may remain partly cloudy today and the weather may stay mainly dry. The forecast was issued today (31 October) from 7am for the following six hours.

The Met office said wind may blow from the north or north-east at 6 to 12 kilometres per hour. Day temperatures may also remain nearly unchanged.

At 6am today, the temperature recorded in Dhaka was 26.2 degrees Celsius, and humidity at that time was 81 percent. Yesterday's maximum temperature was 33.5 degrees Celsius and today's minimum temperature is 26.0 degrees Celsius.

No rainfall was recorded in Dhaka in the last 24 hours. According to the forecast, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry today as well.

The sun will set at 5:20pm today and will rise at 6:05am tomorrow.
