The results of the 2026 HSC and equivalent examinations have been published. For students dissatisfied with their results, applications for re-scrutiny of answer scripts will open tomorrow, Sunday (1 November). Applications can be submitted until 7 November.

In this year's results, the nationwide pass rate stands at 52.12 percent. A total of 40,084 students achieved GPA-5.

The results were formally published at around 10:40am on Saturday (31 October). Education Minister A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon inaugurated the result publication programme at a ceremony.

The detailed rules for re-scrutiny applications have been announced. Candidates will have to pay a fee of 150 taka for each paper.

To apply, candidates must go to the website https://rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd and enter their roll and registration numbers in the designated fields. They must then select their board from the dropdown menu and click the 'Submit' button.

Next, a mobile number must be provided. When the re-scrutiny results are published, an SMS will be sent to this number. In the following step, the student's subject-wise results will be displayed. To seek re-scrutiny of one or more subjects, the relevant subjects must be selected and the 'Pay Fee' button clicked.

A fee of 150 taka applies for each paper. For subjects with two papers, applications must be made for both papers. The total fee payable will be shown in the next step. Fees can be paid through bKash, Nagad, Dutch-Bangla Bank's Rocket, Upay and Sonali Seba. The detailed steps for fee payment can be viewed by clicking the portal's 'Help' button.

After paying the fee, candidates must return to the application portal and click the 'Submit' button. If, after submitting an application with fee paid, a candidate wishes to add another subject, an application can be made in the same way; in that case, there is no need to provide the mobile number again.

If the application needs to be changed or revised before the fee is paid, subjects for which the fee has not yet been paid can be withdrawn by clicking the 'Delete' button. Subjects can then be selected afresh.

However, once the fee has been paid, the subjects applied for cannot be cancelled. Under no circumstances will the fee be refunded. No manual applications will be accepted either.
