Staff Reporter

A free medical camp was held at Chantara Gono High School in Ghatail upazila of Tangail. Around 400 patients received free healthcare at the camp, which ran from 10am to 2pm on 29 October.

The camp was organised by Alok Healthcare and Foundation Hospital, Ghatail, Tangail. The organisers said it was held with a pledge to take quality healthcare to people's doorsteps.

Patients at the camp received free doctors' consultations, diabetes tests, blood group tests and necessary medicines.

Local people joined the camp spontaneously. Most of those who received services expressed satisfaction with Alok's treatment, sincerity and overall management.

Md Faruk Hossain, senior manager of Alok Healthcare and Foundation Hospital, said Alok is always committed to taking quality healthcare to local people.

Faruk Hossain added that, as a continuation of such public-welfare activities, more free medical camps will be organised in Ghatail and neighbouring areas in the coming months.

According to the organisers, the initiative helped ensure accessible healthcare for the local community while also raising health awareness.
