Police and locals said Colin used to come home every two or three days. He came home on Saturday afternoon and went out again at around 7:30 in the evening.

At around 11 pm, a local man saw him lying on the road about 500 yards from his home and informed the family. He was rescued and taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Lobonchora police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Syed Mosharef Hossain said: 'The deceased had seven drug cases and one murder case against him. He often stayed away from home and came occasionally to see his parents. On Saturday, too, he came home and went out in the evening. The matter is being investigated.'
