SAU Second Convocation on February 6, Online Registration Opens at 10pm

Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) will hold its second convocation on February 6, 2027. Online registration for the convocation opens at 10pm on Sunday, November 1.

The online portal built to run the registration process was inaugurated by the university's Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Abdul Latif.

The portal was launched at a ceremony held at 5pm on Sunday in the conference room on the third floor of the Vice Chancellor's office.

A sub-committee built the online portal to make registration for the second convocation, and the preparation and distribution of identity cards, easier.

Committee members began the work on October 7, and the portal was completed on November 1 after about 25 days of effort. It was launched to make the registration process simple and orderly, officials said.

Meanwhile, a reduction of the convocation registration fee is also under discussion. If a decision is taken and the fee is reduced, those who have already registered by paying more than the new fee will be refunded the excess amount, it was announced.
