Leaders and activists of the Swechchhasebak Dal and the Sramik Dal have brought out a protest march in Dhamrai, Dhaka, protesting the ongoing anarchy, disorder and conspiratorial activities in the country's garment industry sector.

The programme was held around 12 noon on Tuesday (November 3) on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in Dhamrai municipal town. The protest march, organised at the initiative of the Swechchhasebak Dal and the Sramik Dal, paraded through various important roads of the highway.

Leaders at the front of the march alleged that a vested quarter is trying to create an unstable environment in the garment industry with the aim of crippling the country's economy.

They said they do not want any kind of anarchy in garment factories. If such attempts are not stopped immediately, they will be resisted through a tougher movement.

Dhaka district Swechchhasebak Dal convener Md. Nazmul Hasan Avi, Dhaka district Swechchhasebak Dal member Md. Jony, Dhamrai Sramik Dal general secretary Md. Lehajuddin, Dhamrai municipal Swechchhasebak Dal general secretary Md. Raju Ahmed and other leaders and activists were present in the protest march.
