Bollywood actor Salman Khan released a song from his upcoming film 'Matribhumi' at 5 AM on Wednesday (November 4). The song, titled 'Teri Sexy Beauty', was composed and arranged by Sajid Khan, with vocals by Salman Khan and Muskan.

Publishing the song on social media, Salman Khan wrote: "Departure time 5:12 AM. The flight is on time. After two pegs, I am flying off with my 'sexy beauty'. I don't know where I will land!"

Many netizens, however, were not pleased with the song's lyrics. Discussion and criticism over the lyrics began on the social media platform X (Twitter). Many also reacted with humour to Salman's post at 5 in the morning.

One user named Kabir Khan wrote, "Brother, what kind of awful thing have you made?" Another named Raghu wrote, "What kind of lyrics are these in a patriotic film based on a real event! What have you turned the character of a national hero into!" A user named Sandhya wrote, "Oh! You too! Please pay some attention to your sleep schedule." Amit Raj wrote sarcastically that one should imagine the government pressure — first the patriotic film's name was changed, then the song was changed too, but he had not expected such a song in a patriotic film.

The film 'Matribhumi: May War Rest in Peace' was initially titled 'Battle of Galwan'. Its story is based on the clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan valley. Salman Khan will be seen in the film as Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu, and it has been directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

The film has already received clearance from the censor board. It is scheduled for release next month.
