Bollywood's Mukesh Rishi to play the lead villain in Dhaka film 'Nosib'

Staff Reporter

He has shared the screen in Bollywood with stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, and built his reputation playing formidable villains. Now that same Mukesh Rishi is set to appear in a Dhaka film. The Bollywood actor is going to act in a Bangladeshi film for the first time.

Mukesh Rishi will play the main villain in 'Nosib', a film to be directed by Mohammad Iqbal. The director himself has confirmed the casting.

Speaking to the media, Mohammad Iqbal said: 'Mukesh Rishi will play the villain in my new film Nosib. He will come to Bangladesh this month to take part in the shooting. He will appear in several important action scenes of the film.'

Mukesh Rishi is expected to arrive in Bangladesh within this month for the shoot, and will be seen in several of Nosib's key action sequences.

Although he is especially known as a villain in Bollywood films, Mukesh Rishi's acting range is wider. Alongside Hindi, he has acted in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi films. He has been working regularly across languages since the 1990s.

He also earned a distinct following among audiences for playing Bulla in the film 'Gunda'. Now, through 'Nosib', a new chapter is about to be added to his acting career — this film will mark the Bollywood actor's first appearance in Bangladeshi cinema.
