Hegseth Seeks Another $350 Billion for the Military, Calls Impeachment Push Political Theater

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has urged Congress to approve at least $350 billion in additional funding for the military.
He made the appeal in a video posted to X on Thursday, arguing that the investment is needed to rebuild the military and keep the United States ahead in a dangerous world.
In the video, Hegseth defended his Pentagon overhaul, including eliminating DEI initiatives, removing military leaders and rebuilding recruitment.
He called the Democratic effort to impeach him political theater.
Hegseth vowed to continue advancing President Donald Trump's military agenda despite Democratic opposition.
